Okay I still don't have my new camera cord.. and I know its not Oct 3rd yet! To pass the time without my new pictures I was going through some old pictures of Tessa to find some cute ones to print out for her scrapbook and I found these. The first one kept me laughing for a very long time. So I thought I needed to share it!  I looked at the next couple all taken within 1 min of each other and it just tells a cute little story I think. ENJOY!

September birthdays are the funnest birthdays!

I am sooo so so excited that Tessa's birthday is only 6 days after mine! I am already planning spa outings and shopping trips.

Mitch spoiled me on my birthday and some good friends baby sat Tessa so we could go out! ( umm THANK YOU! ) It was really cute we hadn't even left the drive way and Mitch went into panic mode, "We just left our baby." LOL but he had good reason, she was almost a year old and it was the first time Mitch had ever left her with someone besides me or a family member. :) He loves his baby girl!

We had a birthday party for Tessa with some friends we've made. ( I need to apologize to Mitch.. I had some serious homesick issues leading up to it. 1st birthdays are kind of a big deal and I was missing my family more than ever! ) Our apartment is tiny considering the amount of people we wanted to celebrate with. So we had it at a cute little park. It was a little chilly as the sun began to set but all in all it was a major success!! We also went to the beach and Tessa went to her first BYU football game! :) (I'm in denial that she is bad luck...worst game in the history of BYU... we'll just let some time pass before we go to another one)

I'm really REALLY sad I lost my camera cable so I can't get all the cute birthday pictures off. my camera. UGH! The new cable is in the mail and I should get it between Oct 3 and Oct 16. Praying for the 3rd!!

Last week I took Tessa to her one year appointment. Turns out she wasn't just moody from teething but she has an ear infection in both ears. Poor thing. But at least it's her first. And I was lectured on feeding her. Guess I suck cause she is in the 5th percentile. Her Dr. is concerned since she has only gained 3 lbs in the last six months... I'm feeling bad. So thanks to all my sweet friends that say she looks healthy and adorable and say I shouldn't worry about it. :) Sure helps. And here's to the fatty almond milk putting on a few pounds! Cheers. Not to be a Debbie Downer...

Mitch is working today (at Disney Land..) so I am home trying to make myself believe that I should be just sitting at home cause its just another week day. Humph.. I'm actually pretty good at it. 

I wanted to share this one simple thing that is making it more bearable.

Sorry its not a very good picture cause I took it on my phone.. BUT these little flowers are soooo cute! I just started making them for my Beehives. We are going to be learning about being thrifty and DIY by making  some cheap frames look really cute. Success! I even made the flower on the bottom into a clip for Tessa to wear to church tomorrow. :) Yay!

Vacation makes time fly.

It's been a while! I can't believe there is just over a week of August left. But it's been wonderful! My little sister visited the end of July and we started the month in Idaho and spent just over two weeks thereish. We visited lots of friends and family in both Idaho and Utah. :) It was hard to say goodbye and seeing everyone just makes me miss them more.

I can't seem to find the cord to the camera I had with me so I haven't got the pictures transfered to the computer yet.. but I'll share them once I find it!

Tess started walking, she's up to 8 steps and she says "ooooh" when she falls. And she just started blowing kisses! :) And here are picture updates since I last posted.

Fun Fourth!

 

We started our day at the beach with friends! Tessa loves eating sand but the water is too cold so no need for a swimsuit. It was nice she took a long nap in my arms so I got to watch the dolphins jump and Mitch play in the waves.

After the beach we went to the park with more friends from the ward and had a picnic. This like really awesome lady I know took these two pictures.. and yes I've already asked her to take some family pictures for us sometime! :)

Then we went to a church house and sat on the lawn to watch fireworks! They were AMAZING. Mitch and I both felt super spoiled to see such a good firework show. (it was better than IF's, if any of you have seen that show you know how good ours had to be!) I was surprised Tessa fell asleep during the show! But she did fall asleep during World of Color and Fantasmic so I shouldn't have been that surprised.

Pretty much it was a Super Fun Fourth! :)

HUGE MILESTONE!!!

I can't believe the day has finally come! Yesterday after getting Tessa out of the tub and dressed for church she was playing very intently with a toy and I grabbed a comb and pony and just like that Tessa wore her first pony tail!! YAY Finally at 9 months and 12 days. It hasn't happened before now cause she never sat still long enough for me to get the pony around enough times to stay! :)

Crafting

Just a heads up to anyone ever asked to be a roadshow specialist. IT CONSUMES YOUR LIFE!! But Tessa is busy eating her first banana of the day so I'm blogging! (Is it bad that Tes has at least one banana a day?? She LOVES them?)

I was asked to make some flower bows for my sisters friend. I haven't had an excuse to make any since we were in Chicago and its nice cause now I'm in a crafty mood! Here are the ones I made. The only problem is I had to send these to Idaho and so Tessa doesn't have any new ones yet!

A couple weeks ago Mitchs parents came out to visit. We went to Disney Land and the beach!

I don't have any pictures from the beach.. I'll have to get those from Grandma. 



No pictures of the house yet.. next time! I'm nowhere near done decorating... but I'll get there. Who knew it was such a long process!

I love California Weather! Some days in the evening or early morning its cool enough I dress Tessa up all warm and it makes me feel like we're back in Idaho!

And then during the day it'll get so hot in our apartment poor Tes doesn't wear hardly anything cause I'm scared she'll get heat stroke!
